Nanny Counsel began as a popular nanny blog and has evolved into a trusted resource offering professional information, expert guidance, and practical tools for Nannies and Families.
With years of experience supporting both sides of the employment relationship, our mission remains the same: to promote mutual respect, clarity, and long-term success.
We believe clear communication and a solid work agreement are the foundation of every great nanny and family partnership.

behind the counsel
Hi! I’m Brooke,
Owner & founder of Nanny Counsel.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriages and Families from Pepperdine University. With over 15 years of experience as a Professional Nanny and Family Assistant, I am passionate about nannying, relationships, and communication.
My professional and educational background inspired me to create a blog to help Nannies and Families better understand the industry and build healthy, respectful relationships. As the blog grew, Nannies began seeking coaching and guidance to navigate workplace challenges, and families looked for expert advice to strengthen their partnerships.
With deep knowledge of the nanny world and a clinical psychology foundation, I support both Families and Nannies by providing practical tools and communication strategies that foster successful and lasting working relationships.
