Interested in hiring a professional nanny through Nanny Counsel? Nanny Counsel is very selective with the Nannies and Families we represent, so please review the Family Requirements before submitting an application. To better understand the quality we provide, CLICK HERE to see "A Day in the Life" of a Nanny Counsel Nanny. Here at Nanny Counsel, we believe every Family deserves a Nanny who has been thoroughly screened/recruited, and therefore we do not offer tiered packages. We are not willing to compromise our screening and recruiting process, for the sake of then charging extra for something we believe should be standard. The cost of placement is a one time fee of 18% of the Nanny's total gross annual income and includes the following:

  • 90-Day Replacement Policy
  • Extensive Security Background Investigation
  • Criminal History Search Including All Locations Lived in During the Past 7 Years
  • National Sex Offender Registry Search
  • Educational Verification
  • Motor Vehicle Report
  • Social Security Verification
  • Verification of CPR & First Aid Certification
  • 3 Childcare Reference Checks + Reference Summary Report
  • Professional Working Agreement Customized for Your Family

In addition to a comprehensive screening process, we are intimately involved throughout the entire placement process. Your search for the right nanny begins with a phone consult to better understand your needs and what you are looking for. From there, we will create a job description, advertise the position across various platforms including our exclusive large email subscriber list, recruit and screen candidates, and then present qualified candidates to you by creating a thorough Nanny Counsel packet on each nanny so you can easily compare candidates side by side. After that it's time to set up interviews! We schedule the interviews and help prep you to ensure you get the most out of the interview process. Once interviews are completed, we recommend scheduling working interviews with any of the candidates you are interested in. A working interview is an opportunity for the nanny to come in and work a shift so they can get a better feel for the job and so the parents can observe how the nanny interacts with the kids and fits into the household. Once working interviews are complete, assuming all has gone well, it's time to make an offer! We then help you create an official offer letter and once the nanny accepts, we immediately get to work on creating a customized work agreement that protects both your family and your new nanny. After your nanny is officially working for your family, we check-in periodically to see how things are going, as well as offer unlimited support should you need it! Our goal is to make finding and employing a nanny a stress free, worry free, positive experience!
